La Entrega (The Drop)
En Brooklyn, un solitario camarero rescata a un cachorro de un cubo de basura. Sus problemas empiezan cuando aparece el dueño del animal, un hombre con problemas mentales que, además, está involucrado en una conspiración criminal que se planea en el bar en el que trabaja el camarero.
Película protagonizada por Tom Hardy (El caballero oscuro. La leyenda renace), un criminal que se ve envuelto en un robo fallido donde ha habido un fallecido, y Nadia (Noomi Rapace, Prometheus), una mujer que se ve inmersa en la vida del delincuente cuando un pit bull resulta herido en el intento de atraco. Una mujer con cicatrices en el alma que se apiada del pobre animal sin saber que con ello despertará la ira de su dueño, un hombre con problemas psicológicos que la perseguirá. Su vida dará un giro cuando se adentre en una trama criminal relacionada con bandas mafiosas para las que trabaja en pleno Boston.
El filme dirigido por Michael Roskam (Rundskop) es una adaptación de uno de los relatos cortos de Dennis Lehane, autor que ha inspirado películas anteriores como Mystic River, Adiós pequeña, adiós y Shutter Island.
